My name is Robi Lynn, creator of the beaded hot air balloons seen on this site. I started beading about one and a half years ago under the instructions of my sister, Paula Adams. Paula is well known for her 3D ornaments and unique jewelry and her work can be seen on her web site, www.beadpatterns-paulaadams.com. For years I have asked her to design a hot air balloon as an ornament. Finally one day around Christmas time of 2005, she sat me down and gave me the basic instructions on how to bead. I started with a simple ornament drape. Well, as all beaders know, you can't do just one!

I played with creating my own unique style and designs with the drapes for a little while and then got bored. So, after having Paula again show me the basics of increasing and decreasing, I started off on a wonderful journey of designing. I followed a couple of her detailed instructions until I was familiar with how beading worked and before long I was exploring my own 3D designs. I could not put those beads down! Armed with a supply of basic colors and a lot of patients I finally designed my first balloon. The Indian Summer balloon, shown to the left, was my very first design. It was so exciting to create that I continued to work on other designs that my head was full of. I was amazed at how many ideals were popping around in my head, keeping me up at night and finding there way to my scratch pad.

I have designed Paula's web site for her and to this day I still maintain it for her. Her site is so full of beautiful creations that she has developed over the years. Every single one is an inspiration to me and pushes me forward to create even more of my own. Though I will never match the ability that my sister has, I do share the same dream as she does, sharing my designs with other beaders. So browse through my pages and hopefully you, too, will be inspired to try one of my little hot air balloons or other items that I offer here.

I decided, right before Christmas, that I needed to make an ornament of my two puppies. Well it wasn't that easy. I finally was able to figure it out and so I am glad to present this adorable ornament to you.

This charming little fellow is my little male longhaired Chihuahua puppy. His real name is Theodore Bear Lynn, but I call him Teddy Bear. He has the cutest personality of any dog I have ever owned. He is very loving and his eyes just talk to you.

He is a 3D ornament as you can see from the pictures and you will have so much fun putting him together.

His little girlfriend, Trixianna, will be joining him very soon. She is a black, white, and brown longhaired Chihuahua. She is very petit and just as cute as Teddy Bear.

Adding the basket on the bottom turns it into a really cute little hot air balloon or leave it off, both options are given for you to choose.

For you cat lovers out there, yes, I am working on some beautiful cats as well.
